Application and Directions

During the application period, the ComSci Program is advertised on the www.usajobs.opm.gov Web site, and applications are processed electronically.

Application is a three-part process:

1. An applicant must be nominated by his/her agency and the nomination form must be signed by a nominating official designated by the agency. The nomination form with signature must be faxed to the ComSci Program by the same closing date and time that applications are due. There are no exceptions. (Nomination by an agency does not ensure selection by the ComSci Fellowship Program.)

2. The applicant must complete the on-line application and respond to all questions by the advertised closing date. (During the application period, go to www.usajobs.opm.gov. Click on search jobs tab. Enter ComSci in keyword search block.) Incomplete applications will not be considered.

3. Applicants being considered for selection by the program will be interviewed before final fellowship selections are made.
